Elincom Electronics is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Throughout this time, we've been helping machine and equipment manufacturers shape their developments and ultimately create their products.
We're grateful to have been able to do this for so long, and we want to share that gratitude with a much higher purpose. That's why we're a business friend of the Princess Máxima Center.
In the Netherlands, approximately 600 children are diagnosed with cancer each year, and currently, one in four children still dies from this disease. That's why the Princess Máxima Center was founded with one mission: to cure every child with cancer, with an optimal quality of life.
The Princess Máxima Center is not a regular hospital, but a research hospital. All children with cancer in the Netherlands are treated here, and all research into childhood cancer takes place here. This makes the Princess Máxima Center the largest pediatric cancer center in Europe. Over 900 healthcare professionals and 450 researchers work closely with Dutch and international hospitals to improve treatments and develop new perspectives on cures. This way, they provide today's children with the very best care, and we are taking important steps to improve the survival rates of children who are not yet cured.
