Bihl + Wiedemann GmbH werd in 1992 opgericht in Mannheim door Jochen Bihl en Bernhard Wiedemann. Het zeer gespecialiseerde ingenieursbureau behoort tot één van de toonaangevende leveranciers van veiligheidstechnologie en elektronische componenten voor automatiseringstechnologie met AS-interface.
