Fascinating Science
Are you ready to broaden your horizons and be inspired by the most groundbreaking discoveries in the world of science and technology? Then come to the Jaarbeurs Utrecht on September 27 for the 'Fascinating Science' seminar! This seminar is organized for professionals from industry, electronics and laboratories. Our speakers are renowned scientists who not only excel in their field, but also share fascinating stories and knowledge. During this seminar, Klaas Landman (affiliated with Radboud University Nijmegen and author of the book 'Founders of General Relativity') gives a presentation on thermodynamics. Hans Plets discusses the Einstein Telescope and John van der Oost (among other things, leader of the Bacterial Genetics research group at the Microbiology Laboratory of Wageningen University) takes you through the CRISPR-Cas revolution – from biology to gene therapy. Finally, Jurre Steens, CTO of Scope Biosciences, tells more about the diagnostic applications of CRISPR-Cas.
