Workshop: Setting a course for quality, welcome aboard

The workshop is designed to create quality awareness. Participants in this workshop will learn about the essential elements needed to navigate the sea of quality. Along the way, they will receive tips on how to stay on course and ensure that the end point is reached. Participants will have the opportunity to practice in small groups to ensure smooth sailing with the goal of growing to a higher level of quality (thinking).

This session is organized by Miriam Hermsen & Christine Mitchell from Avans+.

Themes

Quality
The theme of quality is highlighted during a seminar and two workshops.
Sustainability
During the seminar and the tour of the exhibition floor, you will discover innovations to make your lab more sustainable and you will receive practical tips to get started immediately.
Sample management
Sample management is the basis of work in the laboratory. Through three practical workshops you will receive tools to optimize your sample management process.
Analysis techniques
Within the theme Analysis techniques you can attend a seminar on mobile analysis techniques and follow an interactive workshop.
Safety
Within the safety theme, you can attend a seminar, follow a route across the exhibition floor or attend an interactive workshop.
Innovations & developments
During the WoTS, attention is also paid to innovations, social themes and (personal) development.
