In classical energy technology or installation technology we therefore do not speak of the application of EMVT.<\/p>\n<p>We also do not speak of EMVT in designs where application of traditional network theory leads to models that are sufficiently representative of the real world. In general, this will be the case if it can be assumed that the electromagnetic energy remains concentrated in the components and these components can be described unambiguously with one or more characteristic units (resistance, self-inductance, etc.).<\/p>\n<p>In such cases the geometry of the circuit will play little or no role.
